It was a quiet evening at the North Pole, just days before Christmas. Santa Claus sat in his cozy workshop, sipping hot cocoa and reviewing the Naughty and Nice lists. But something was bothering him. The elves were unusually quiet.
Suddenly, the door burst open, and an out-of-breath elf named Jingle ran in.
“Santa! We have a situation!” he exclaimed.
“What is it, Jingle?” Santa asked, setting down his cocoa.
“The planters are gone!”
Santa blinked. “Planters? What planters?”
“The ones Mrs. Claus ordered for the reindeer garden! She wanted to grow peppermint plants for Dasher and Dancer!” Jingle explained.
Santa stroked his beard thoughtfully. “A mystery, eh? Let’s investigate.”
The two of them checked every corner of the workshop, the stables, and even the cookie pantry (just in case the gingerbread men had taken them). Finally, they stumbled upon Rudolph in the sleigh garage, looking suspicious.
Rudolph was surrounded by all the missing planters, now filled with soil and glowing plants.“Rudolph!” Santa said with a laugh. “What are you doing with Mrs. Claus’s planters?”
Rudolph blushed—his nose glowing even brighter than usual. “Well, Santa, I was testing a new idea. If I plant glowing peppermint, it might make the sleigh extra visible during foggy nights!”
Santa chuckled. “A clever idea, my boy, but next time, ask before you borrow the planters!”
Mrs. Claus arrived just in time, holding a tray of freshly baked cookies. When she saw the glowing peppermint experiment, she burst into laughter. “Rudolph, you’re full of surprises!”
In the end, the planters were returned to their rightful place, Rudolph got a special peppermint cookie, and Mrs. Claus promised to make an extra batch for his glowing garden project.
And that’s how Santa Claus and his team solved The Mystery of the Missing Planters.
